Daddy clearing lve #5 - We finally made it to the SBG's Christmas tree light up

Ya today daddy was supposed to take pm lve again but he had stuff to clear and only came back at 4+ just after Ian's long nap and we headed to SBG to feed the fish.....but it started drizzling so daddy drove over to the swan river and we started feeding the swans....and each time Ian's getting better and could even say Bye Bye turtles (his fav!) and swans and fish!

Then we walked ard the whole lane of Christmas trees again and Ian loved this one with the duck, he did walk ard the tree before taking this shot coz of the 'jie2' in the pic hehee

Then came on the lights....it was a pretty sight as we saw how the lights slowly came on and as the sky became darker, the place became so prettily lighted! We walked a diff path today and saw more trees...wonder if there are 150 trees to commemerate the 150 yrs of SBG?? hhmm

And we finally ended with this big christmas tree and finally a family shot with a Christmas tree hahaa maybe could do a real Christmas card next yr =) anw it was some gd family moments spent at the garden as Ian saw some pple jogging and he cajoled his daddy to join in jogging with him hahaa...it was more of dashing than jogging, it was a gd time laughing and 'catching' up with each other...well we saw quite a few couples taking wedding shots at the garden, hhmm is it the time of the yr or what??

Well well so glad daddy has so much lve to clear this yr and it sure made Dec seemed alot shorter to us and guess Ian's confused when daddy's at work and when he's not coz he will wake up asking for daddy, guess trying to figure out what is long wkend and what is off days huh....anw we will be ending this daddy clearing lve at Melaka with our wedding anniversary trip so we will see u all next yr and have a blessed new yr ahead(in advance)!

Daddy clearing lve #4 - We invited Uncle Kenneth and Aunty Salome to our place

Aunty Salome is here in town for a mth and we asked them over for dinner so today daddy took pm lve so we could do grocery for the 'party' tonite...its been sometime since we invited pple to our place for dinner and daddy just got this multi cooker as a gift from his coy so we decided to do steamboat coz it was sth we have been wanting to do....hhmm as if Ian knew there was gonna be a party coz he had a late nap at 3 and he barely slept 15 min and said he din wanna sleep but daddy made him nap again and he woke up at 5+ oh my....anw he was charged up for the dinner apt =)

We had a gd time on the table with food and just chatting away and catching up with Aunty Salome which we dun have the luxury of time every Sun....just understanding more abt Germany where the culture is quite diff....in fact she was sharing her family does not believe in caning and they have grown up where they don't go beyond the count of 3 when the parents ask them to stop doing sigh....if only Ian could do that as well hhmm anw Uncle Kenneth was quite awed by how active Ian was back home and he's truly seeing the true colors of the 'talkative' boy compared to the demure and quiet side he is in church every Sun (guess coz everyone seems to want a piece of him every Sun which makes him wanna shun away hahaaa)

The highlight for the evening was chocolate for Ian sigh coz Uncle Kenneth brought such a BIG box of Ritter Sport Chocolate and Ian was endlessly asking for chocolate while we were having dinner hahaa that made Uncle Kenneth regretted bringing the box but nonetheless endless times of telling Ian after dinner, he finally waited till we ended the dinner and he had 2 small chocolates and was so satisfied by the long waiting hahaa

It was a gd dinner time shared back home which we requested instead of other eating place so we could relax and Ian wouldn't be so bored running ard....guess we could invite more pple for steamboat since we got the cooker hehee....more dinner dates huh!

Anw guess we could invite Uncle Kenneth and Aunty Salome back when she comes to spore again....Ian in fact has learnt how to call Aunty Salome at the end of the dinner coz he was calling Uncle Kenneth so well he decided to teach him how to call Aunty Salome hehe....was really nice having them at our place =)

We attended Uncle Kepei's wedding on this boxing day!!!

Oh daddy and mama's friendship with Uncle Kepei went back many yrs ago and we are glad he's tying the knot today!!! It was a church wedding at 10am and we were happy with this timing coz it means we could enjoy the wedding lunch coz these days wedding are usually held during Ian's nap time so we had to skip or rush thru some....so today we had such leisure of time we could enjoy our usual lazy bf and then drive to TA2 and the wedding prog was quite short and we had so much time to enjoy with our peers for lunch.

Again, Ian is 1 of the few kids ard for our peers so he had the luxury of having the attention from everyone! Aunty Dawn (hahaha sounds so old!) was trying to 'tempt' Ian with a Nacho chip but soon Uncle Kenneth came with a plate with salsa sauce with the chips....just so pampered with pple giving him food!

And then he played some flying 'plate' with Aunty Lorraine, he was so thrilled think he doesn't even look he's sleepy yet so we had some gd time catching up with our church friends!

And before going, Ian also insisted he wanted the flowers in bowl coz prior to that Uncle Eugene was collecting some flowers to deco his place...see what this little boy is so gd at imitating and asking for stuff...so much abt talking huh! And it was also time for him to go home for his nap =)

Ian's Christmas gifts!!!

Every yr we have been taking pics of Ian's Christmas gifts so he will rem when he grows up which toys were given by which dear auntie or uncle and it just gets easier for him to pose in front of pics....1st yr we tried to have him smile behind the gifts, sometimes he will fiddle with the toys, last yr he will smile more but yet v tempted to play with the gifts...this yr, he is so excited with 'presents' and rip them apart and then wanna take pics with them....hhmm see what training did to the boy hahaaa

Here's Ian with him smiling so happily when he saw new shoes and dayi got him a pair of Crocs sandals...wah mummy won't spend such money hahaa and a pair of new track shoes...abit big but certainly in time for him to go sch =)

Here's the pic matching cards and jumbo color pencils from ah bah, ah mu and kids....well Ian was quite attracted to the color pencils!

Here's the DVD from jiu2 and Aunty Lorraine abt the story of Jesus....daddy was quite amazed there is quite a few stories which could be played just within an hr...will see when is a gd time to screen the DVD then!

And Ian's sun sch teacher on Christmas day passed him a gift...so sweet of Aunty Winnie coz she got it specially for Ian...its a pink rabbit height chart....see how happy the boy is with rabbit!

And finally daddy and mummy got him devotional CDs....from next yr gonna start with some simple devotions for the day and then daddy also got a devotional prayer book for toddlers which he will do it at nite when we have family prayer by bed...hhmm some materials for us to usher in the new yr as we are teaching the boy more abt Christ!

Well what a bountiful Christmas Ian had, there are still some gifts Ian has yet to collect, will add on the blog when we receive them! But still, wanna thank you all who have blessed Ian with so much love (not just gifts!) and hope this boy grows up with these love and have more love for the other needy pple!

The FEAST!

Not that we feasted this Christmas but we woke up real late on Christmas day and went for lazy breakfast and we still made it to church for The Feast musical (v much talked abt by the youths) and for once Ian was so quiet watching the musical in the church's mezzanine, guess he was captured by all the singing....glad we made it for the 2nd part coz it was quite interesting making us think whether we are part of the feast or the 'feasters' hehee....make us ponder whether we are inviting pple to the feast as well...

Thereafter we went Ikea for our 'feast' heheee no lah spent some gd time with dayi as we shopped ard and had lunch....1 of the few times Ian's not in the play area coz he's alone!

After Ian's nap, we brought the Iong old folks to airport for Soup restaurant....spent some gd time chatting over the table coz we had a gd quiet corner (tho we are like the viewing gallery for the restaurant hahaa) and Ian was even ok with ah maa feeding him some mouthfuls! Well guess mama missed the steamed chicken with lettuce so we are back here...so yummy we took pics after we are done with the dinner hahaa....anw after dinner we walked ard and it was so crowded at departure hall...make us wanna take plane again hhmmm....a feasty Christmas day!

Blessed Christmas!!!

Hmm intended to print this pic and use as a Christmas card but just din manage to do it so decide to blog it and use as a e-card?? hheee anw this is Ian's 3rd Christmas and it was quite nice to be home early and teaching him to say Merry Christmas hohoho....we attempted to take a family pic with Christmas tree this yr (thot of doing it at Perth's city mall since they have the deco done at the malls but din find time again hhmm) but ended up daddy suggesting taking at a Christmas tree look alike tree in Fremantle....from the pic u can see how Ian has progressed from a baby to a toddler and a boy to come....just take this opportunity to thank all of you who have been such a special part of our lives....Blessed Christmas

Had a chance to think what Christmas means to us...in 15 words, Christmas is a time to spend magical moments with your loved ones counting the blessings! May u find the magical moments this Christmas to do something meaningful!

Daddy clearing lve #3 - preview of the Pinnacles!

Today daddy took pm lve and it was gd we could be out of the hse coz now Ian's nap is so late its not worth waiting for him to zzz and wake up at home so we went out for lunch at Vivo and then we went on board Doulos again (as per mama's request!) and here's Ian taking a look at the sea water before he dozed off...then we wonder it will be so boring to go home then decided to take a chance to see if we could view Auntie Amanda and Uncle Marcus' new flat at Duxton!

Here we are at their 39th floor unit.....wwhhhooo never been on a flat that is this tall and must say its really gd view, guess they can see firecrackers at Chinatown and fire works at the marina floating...and here we could see our block too hahaa and Ian was happily running ard the place after he woke up from his nap! Its quite a done up unit (like the condo!) and the toilet looks most cool with all the concealed piping and all...and its so windy wonder if the air con will be used at all!

We stayed till 5:30pm coz there was 'orientation' for the residents to preview the sky terrace which is on the 50th floor....wah super windy and could see Sentosa, the CBD, the IR and all....here u get bird's eye view hhmm not bad we are privileged to get on the sky terrace coz we heard in future the public wanna come up its $5pax hhmm who will wanna pay...just ask Aunty amanda for her pass to come up hahaa

And here's Ian on the star gazing launch pad....it seems quite nice if u come in the nite to do some star gazing and its real cool to be lying there and watch the world pass u by....we also went the 26th floor sky bridge that is supposedly a jogging track but we prefer the 50th floor coz it seems so cool to link all the blocks thru the connecting terrace! Too bad no BBQ pit or sth hehee....anw we sure to be back to see when Aunty Amanda's unit is done! Quite glad we could spend some time with the couple....and seeing how Ian gets so happy playing with them and Ian even had privilege to play on the playground....guess he's 1 of the first few kids huh....nice to spend the noon off at the Duxton!

Our Christmas Party at the Chngs' residence!

We had Christmas celebration at Ah gong's and po2's place and there was so much food! Ah mu prep mushroom shop where the 2 boys are eating with the hard rolls!

And there was whole table of food! Po2 cooked pasta and chicken drumsticks for the kids while the adults had briyani chicken (coz po2's neighbour was so nice to ask her when the Christmas party was and she cooked a whole pot for us!) and mama and daddy got salad coz po2 made popiah, dayi got the sushi and see how the kids were admiring the sushi coz there was tamago made in the shape of stars so Ian was pinching off the star tamago on the sushis! Jiu2 and aunty lorr made desserts - papaya agar agar and crepe with ice-cream! It was so gd time having the 'party' mood and then exchanging gifts...hhmm Ian still got no concept of presents despite the cousins opening theirs and having fun...we could do it on boxing day =) it was a gd time ard the table again!

We headed to the East today!

This am, we headed to the East coz Uncle Ben's got a baby and wanted to go visit the newborn and to pass some gifts....so we headed to the Kid's Kampong 1st for Ian to feed the animals since we had some time to spare....and the 1st animal Ian headed for was the rabbits, he has this special liking for rabbits (wonder why?? hhmm) so he was there 'Eat, rabbit...eat!' hahaa the place was so empty we were the only family feeding the animals....all the kois were pounding on each other as we fed the fishes....aiyo so desperate for feed leh! Guess we miss the feeding times we had back at Perth and here to relive some memories hahaaaSoon after we headed to Uncle Ben's place and this boy was having so much fun ard the living hall while they were feeding the baby in the room....they had this interesting helium balloon in the living hall where u hit it, there will be music and singing bday song...so this Ian was endless at it...hhmm while daddy helped to get wireless network for Uncle Ben

Then Ian went endless times saying he wanted to see the baby and here we are sitting on the bed and taking a pic to compare the size of the 2 boys hahaa....there is Baby Aiden and we were making sure Ian doesn't pounce on the baby when he got up the bed but well he was careful and there he has a muesli bar from Uncle Ben.

Hope Uncle Ben and Auntie Celeste have a gd confinement time together and they finally realised having a kid is not easy hahaa....let's see whether these 2 boys will grow up gd friends like their daddies! Guess Aiden will be the next boy Ian will see often in our small grp!

Doulos is in town!!!

Last wk daddy was just telling us Doulos was in the town and read on papers it will be their final port call so on Fri we happened to be out dinner at Vivo so we get on board the ship. For those who dun know Doulos is the biggest ship that has a bookstore that goes to every port ard the world....the last time mama boarded the ship was when she was pregnant with Ian, oh so much memories as we stepped on the ship, the steep steps mama had to be careful the last time and now she has to be careful while carrying Ian (coz quite hard for him to mount on the steps on his own) and the last time we bought some toddler books which Ian is still reading them today, and this time we got more books for Ian coz they are on 25% discount!

The last time we had a gd guided tour by Uncle Kenneth coz he spent a gd 3 mths on board the ship so he brought us to the cabin, the engine room, the little corners he had experiences and the canteen....it was nice to be on board the ship and yes, we did bum into Uncle Kenneth and his gf whom he met on board the ship! Well well we will try to go on board again and maybe have Uncle Kenneth bring us (with Ian ard) again! Heard from Uncle Kenneth this ship will be sold to be a permanent anchored hotel in South Africa and they will be getting another ship for doulous to sail again to all over the world and minister to people! For the time being, the kids are happy to board the bookshop 'boat' hahaa

Ian's 1st self-made Christmas card

Nice rite hahaa last Sun when Ian showed to me it looked too nice to believe he did it hahaa even when he was holding it, Auntie Xiaowen saw it and said was nice but can't be Ian did it rite hahaa the truth is we also dunno but guess he just did the pasting when the teacher assisted with him....at the social hall he saw his Sun Sch teacher and he was smiling to her so happily they must have spend some gd hr doing it....sigh its gonna change teacher again coz its on 2 mth rotational pattern and Ian's gotta take time to get used to Auntie Winnie again 2 mths later....well this is a card to rem of Ian's work with Auntie Winnie for 2009!

Ian's a POP Kid hahaaa

We went to the popular bookfest last Sat and signed Ian as a POP kid (its a loyalty scheme for kids less than 7 yrs old and u get freebie upon sign up) and we went so early that there was hardly any crowd so mama spent a gd hr searching for cirriculum for Ian hahaa coz he's not going to sch yet so better start teaching him back home....found some resources and we spent so much on them but guess not as much if we were to pay sch fees

So when we are done, we signed up for POP kid and in the goodie bag was lots of free gift but had to visit some of the booths and 1 was the snapfish where we took this pic hahaa...see the 2 choc biscuits Ian collected at 1 of the booths and holding so dearly in his hands....but was 'confiscated' when we reached home coz too melted hahaa...and when he sees this pic now he will ask why Ian din smile hahaa....look how frightful he looked coz there were so many jie2sssss behind trying to make him smile coz he found him so cute but he found them so frightful ahahaa what an experience!

Ian and his new wardrobe

Yeah its hols mood so Ian has put on his Barney's party set (which he got at the BBQ we attended) and behind is his new wardrobe which is barely 2 weeks old....finally got his stuff hung properly (esp his shirts hehee) and my, this boy has loads of clothes and dug alot new clothes for his new yr (hhmm he can have new suits for his entire new yr I think!) and this boy has started choosing clothes he wanna wear each day...sigh wonder is this normal for a boy hahaa....anw so sometimes u see him in some biang clothes its not mama's fault huh hahaa

We were on Class 95 FM today!!!!

Our usual lunch 'affair' on Sun is park at Esplanade and climb the whole flight of stairs to Marina Sq for lunch and today we were there as usual and we were stopped by a whole grp of pom-pom gals asking if we wanna take up their 'Subway fitness challenge' so we were game for it and daddy was asked to do push ups...guess daddy did ard 20+ and we were then ushered to Glenn Ong who then interviewed daddy 'on air' asking him how was the challenge and for our names....hahaa we were on air for just a min or so....wonder any catch it besides ah mu and family (coz we called them if they heard it) it was abt 11am today!

Anw the pleasant surprise was after the challenge we were given a voucher to redeem a foldable bike! Hhaaa we have been contemplating for mths abt getting 1 and now we got it free! Hmm quite a gd catch! So much abt keeping fit and taking the stairs instead of the escalator which also leads to Marina Sq (coz Ian loves to count the steps) nice Christmas prezzie for us =) just can't believe it!

Ian went to Sunday School HAPPILY!!!

Yest we have been preparing Ian today got Sunday Sch (yes the final one before the wrap one for the yr) and he was singing all the songs on the way to church....but when we were there there was hardly anyone....so mama had to wait till Seth and Joy comes...and Ian happily said Bye to mama....hhmm mama went to check on him during the prayer and he was doing fine...in fact mama couldn't believe he was standing thru and singing the songs with actions....the contented mum just wanted to take pic from behind but teacher Doreen was so nice to offer taking in front for me (coz if Ian sees me he might think I am bringing him off) so here's a nice close up shot!

And here's with the kids....see mama behind sneaking by hahaa and saw Ian doing the actions for 'Be like a tree' and 'Trusting in Jesus' and it was quite cute seeing Ian doing the actions...in fact the teachers were motivating him to do it and he was doing quite well hiak hiak...well done, my son! Guess for the next yr there will be some changes but its a gd start since mama could really be in peaceful mind in sanctuary

And when mama returned to pick him, he was the only one waiting (aiyo this mama so slow huh) but he was doing fine playing with another gor2 and he was so happy to see mama hehee...gd start coz its almost 2 hrs and he did a nice Christmas card today....maybe shld capture it as momento!

Daddy's clearing lve #2 - Ian's 1st visit to Science Centre

Yeah today daddy took whole day lve coz he managed to apply his coy's corporate pass for Science Centre....we last came here when we were still dating hhmm time flies, now we came back with Ian...for a 2.5 yr old who hardly know Science he was busy going ard the stations at the place...here's him with daddy at the entrance with the moving T-rex hahaa and my was the boy frightened by its grizzly teeth

Here's Ian cranking every lever and pushing every possible buttons....hhhmm busying himself running ard and din even want to be carried out sigh

This is his fav stop where u need to turn the wheel to get the ball moving from 1 end to another and there were occasions he seemed too 'weak' to turn the wheel so impatient bigger gor2 and jie2 came by to turn the wheel (with his hands on still) and he got real frustrated coz he wanna do it on his own hahaa....well well guess kids are impatient when they dun see the things moving and they dun have the courtesy to say excuse me....sigh anw gd learning lessons and some pl for Ian to expend his energy hahaa

The part of it was we were 'treated' to Omnimax - Under the Sea coz the corporate membership comes with some free tics and daddy went to ask if any tics left for the yr and we were totally surprised we could still get 2 free tics and Ian's still FOC since he's under 3...hhmm we ever thot of bringing Ian to omni max v long ago (coz we loved the big screen with nature) but wonder if he's allowed to admit then today we realised any age is allowed....hhhmm but we did hear some brawling babies...quite tough for small kids to sit thru 40 mins huh

For Ian, he was most excited when he heard he could see fishes and turtles (tho he did ask if he could feed them hhmm) and he was leaning on mama at 1st then later he asked for a seat by himself and there he was asking non-stop abt the creatures...we saw sea lions, sea dragons, scrimps, cuttlefish eating crab (boy isn't crab more ex than cuttlefish??) it was an insightful show and we were just glad we had tics for it coz its been so long...we din even know now they got seat numbers for each tic coz it was free seating previously....

now there's even water play in the Science Ctr, guess we could be back again?? hahaha, better seize the gd use of daddy's corporate welfare benefit =)

Daddy clearing lve #1

Its yr end and so happy daddy got lve to clear (hhmm last yr daddy only had 0.5 day to clear) and this yr its even better ahaha...tho it was intended to clear it by attending our church camp but due to multiple reasons we din go for church camp in the end and thus we got more time with daddy...today's the 1st 0.5 day daddy has taken and Ian's super happy daddy is home in the am coz he woke up so early arrgghh

And with this boys of sports gear we got from our Aust trip, Ian was most happy to go out with it coz we are finally using it (he was actually holding onto it quite tight when we were at the store and he actually slept in the pram holding it tightly hhmm) ya for a bag lover like Ian, we were most pleased to get him this bag of sports gear (tho we din know what it does have till we used it today haha) and for A$15 quite worth it leh

After breakfast, we fetched Seth, Joy, ah mu and another big jie2 and we went feeding the fishes, birds, turtles and ducks (today the ducks were the rare 'guests' for our feeding) and we headed to the green to play our GAMES!!! Here's the 1st game which was meant to be tossed with the other person catching it but these 2 boys improvised and made it like some telematch game hahaa passing it from 1 to another!

And here's Ian trying to hit the shuttlecock to Claudia jie2 with the kids' badminton racquets! Well gd try, Ian and it made the jie2 run quite a fair bit hahaa...well there are another 3 games in the bag and it was fun having the kids running ard and trying to catch the balls....guess it might be used till they are bigger coz they are just learning to play them

What totally caught our attention was the MANY christmas trees lined up in the garden...yes, we missed the MEGA SBG 150th celebration last Sat....apparently many organisations have decorated the christmas trees and were lined along the garden....some were really pretty and we saw real christmas trees 'planted' in the garden...hhmm no need get Christmas tree, just go malls and garden to admire them hehhee....here's a pretty one from Uganda! Guess it will be even nicer at nite when the trees are lit up...shall see when we could drop by to capture some shots...in the meantime, just savoring the leave daddy has left for the yr (hhmm actually for last yr coz he's totally carrying fwd this yr's lve to next yr....ya missed those days when mama worked and had many days to clear hhmm and now daddy has childcare lve even better =)

hhmm Ian woke up from his nap and asked for his daddy....hahaa overdose of morning's activities huh?

Ian turns 33 mths old....

Last Fri when we visited the Popeye Chicken at Spore Flyer for ah mu's bday lunch, it brought alot of memories coz Ian was barely 15 mths old when we 1st went there for a meal and he was still taking his usual porridge and just looked at us having the chicken feast without any requests...this time he was having the chicken tender, corn and enjoying his carrot juice and this makes mama rem how time has flown past....hhmm this mth Ian's getting more talkative coz brought him to mezzanine 1 of the Sun and someone commented he was chatty and talking alot more...wonder where the genes came from ahhaaa

He loves to hop ard these days wonder issit coz of the kangaroo he saw in Aust or coz he purely loved rabbit...well this mth he surprised us with some words like daddy was changing the clock's battery and when daddy finished it and the clock was functioning, he told daddy 'U are so clever' hahaaa hhmm wonder when we used that word or where he learnt it...and recently we watched the advert on Nutella and he turned to us and say 'Our house have this, hor!' and we were like whenever u learnt the word 'hor' hhmm better to start teaching proper english hahaa

most proud of him going to Sun Sch but hope it continues esp if we get a slot for this bible study on Mon morning so mama could go and have some bible study as well....and this mth he lost us once in a supermarket (coz mama was returning the trolley and thot he was gonna look for daddy and daddy thot likewise but when mama met daddy wo Ian, we both panicked) and when we found him, it was 2 caucasians gals who asked if anyone met his mummy hahaaa...but yet Ian looked surprisingly calm when we saw him hhmm wonder what went thru his mind but he was surely glad to see us and was quiet for a while hahaa

thinks he brings alot of 'noise' as well as joy when he stays over Yishun coz po2 was just relating to mum how on Wed nite, after po2 bathed Ian and he would 'spread' many layers of stuff on his body hahaa(powder, mosquito repellent water, vicks and sometimes mobiko if got mosquito bites) and then he will go on put some cream for po2 coz he knows po2 got knee pain hahaaa...and po2 is most happy coz Ian is so gentle on her knees but Ian will exclaim when po2's knee is well then she can carry Ian hahaa got motive behind his actions hahaaa

and last wk when we were getting home from ah ba's car, just had to remind Ian we are going home so its gonna be home sweet home and his reaction was 'HUH???' coz how can home be coupled with sweet unless he got sweet treat hahaa....ya sweet is a rare treat for him now that his cough is gone so he will request for mummy to 'open cupboard to get sweet' but its a rare treat so better keep it that way!

Last Sun, we had a special bday celebration for ah mu at ah gong's and ah mu's fav hokkien restaurant - Beng Hiang and we were treated to the yummy hokkien delicacy....we had such enjoyable time ard the table as jiu2 and Aunty Lorr just came back from their Japan trip and we shared this yummy ice cream cake after dinner and of coz not forgetting the 'traditional' bday song that the restaurant plays (its a must play thingy when we dine there for bday celeb coz its real hokkien-ny hehee) and here's wishing ah mu's a blessed bday!

Ah mu has been almost the other person Ian sees the most apart from mummy and daddy....we meet up so often n Ian's so comfortable with ah mu (that of coz comes along with gor2 and jie2) and Ian's not afraid to 'disturb' ah mu at times hahaa and of coz asking for requests...for the forever young ah mu 'Trust in the Lord as He leads u into the next yr and remember we live for that eternal hope that God will come again and thus we need to stand firm on what we believe and pass this on to our next generation!'

A free taxi ride in Spore??

We heard this promo over the radio but din know how it works and thot its some gimmick that u gotta have but then we happened to be at Plaza sing(where the promo was) and were on our way to Spore flyer to celeb ah mu's bday lunch and rem abt the free taxi ride. Looking at the taxi queue, it was surprising empty at such rainy lunch hr so we just start the queue and v promptly we were being asked if we wanna participate in the free taxi ride promo.....haaaa of coz right and we were given free mineral water on our taxi ride...cool rite?? Ya all thanks to Citibank Dividend credit card that we got the free ride. 1st ever free ride to anywhere on S'pore island hhmm glad we 'made it'!!! And the 2 kids were thrilled with the water bottle hahaa...a free ride that pleased all =)

A rare day out to the pool!

Guess our kids just love the pool so when we saw bright sun early in the morning, we decided to bring the kids to the pool but.....never expected SAFRA pool to be close on a Tue morning coz we are so used to going in the noon (usually after their nap since Seth goes to sch) so the kids were disappointed when they were told the pool was closed....hhmm gd thing ah ba was able to make a turn ard to fetch us to 1 North NTU alumni club (hhmm at the expense of him going late for work hiak hiak!) and here the kids were so happy with the water fun coz there were slides, animal rides and pool all to ourselves YEAH!

And the kids had swimming 'class' with ah mu hehee they had their floats and learnt to paddle across the pool to where they could stand (its Ian's 1st attempt and he finally got the hang of doing it) and was enjoying the water fun having his legs dangling without touching the pool's floor...hhmm maybe time for Ian to go for swimming class??
