Till the last biscuit....
will Ian give up....last week daddy brought back an interesting pack of biscuit...coz its ocean creatures biscuits....filled with biscuit in the shape of fish, squid, starfish and the past Mon, Ian was asking daddy to bring him out (for work we supp coz he said bye to mummy) so we used this biscuit for him to stay home....he was real fascinated by the shapes of the biscuits coz he was eating each and saying 'fish, star, squid' and mama kept asking him for one so he won't be finishing the biscuit alone...left the last piece and mama capture the video of how this little boy tried to dig to get that biscuit and he was relentlessly trying to 'fish' it out no matter how many 'can mama help u' coz he just wanna perservere and get that piece out hahaa...quite funny

Ian's riding a bike!
It was another pass down bike to Joy jie2.....but asking to ride on it for a while, this boy just refused to come down and return to jie2 and so we ended up exchanging the bike which mama has kept for some gd mths
On a boring Tue afternoon, mama brought this exchanged bike for Ian to play along the corridor...he seemed to enjoy it more when the 3 kids were playing on their bikes....for now, he was busy checking out the corners of the corridor....but was quite surprised this boy could manoveur the bike quite well....turning to the other direction he needs to turn....well this could be a sport along the corridor for the moment while mama relaxes at some corner hehee

What a GLORIOUS mon!
After dropping the cousins, we headed to ABC market for dinner...here's Ian holding the Avocado drink holding so dear to it....he was enjoying the new drink after his dinner....it was so long time since we visited the place coz we recalled the time when we brought Ian there was when he was a real small baby....sleeping in the pram while we were feasting away hahaaa how time flies and this time we were busy-ing with a busy toddler wanting to feed himself and hold his own cup...hope he doesn't break anything =p

Happy Easter!
And Ian got a real egg from church refreshment as it is a must have thing every Easter coz it symbolises the newness of life....so last yr mama took a pic of him with the egg and this yr, he is peeling the egg on his own...we are sure he has grown over the yr, learning to be more independent and yet still have the love for egg....here's the clip and see how neatly he's keeping his 'mess' coz mama instructed him to only have the shell on the paper boundary given hehee...but he's sure using his every bit of peeling before he can enjoy the egg
Hope you all had a blessed Easter and we are having an extended Easter break coz daddy is on lve tmr as he is needed for church dinner tonite so more family time is needed on a Mon =)

Good Fri.....
We had a nice early dinner at Pu Tien at Vivo....the usual reluctant walker Ian was walking all the way with dayi....thank dayi for motivating Ian to walk from harbourfront to vivo and then back again....guess it's the 1st ever record he made walking so much in a shopping trip
The kids came by their fav Hi-5 mobile ride and they have always been contented just sitting on it but gong2 thot it would be gd to have the machine moving...sigh and Ian was indicating the coin slot portion coz he sat on it too often to notice it....here's the video taken of the 3 kids enjoying the ride....and its all their fav cartoon programme just that recently the time slot has been changed so kindof out of their routine....well well so the kiddie ride to make up for the missed episodes?? Well ah mu has ever told Seth that we would take such rides only when Ian's bigger (coz those days he was just a baby when we 1st chanced upon it) and we were glad there were 3 seats so the 3 kids can be contented with their seat....guess over time, we realised it's kindof waste of $$ to spend on these rides so we never ever let them sit on it moving...tho there was once some parents wanted their kids to sit and Ian got a free ride on....so here's finally a chance when the 3 kids are seen on the ride....gd thing we only have 3 kids at the moment in the family ya....otherwise the rest can stand at the pole stands hahaaa well well enjoy huh!

Ian turns 25 mths old!
Surprisingly, this past 1 mth seems so long....it seems like Ian has grown quite abit in this past 1 mth....now he's more independent, he can be left to play on his own and even left in the care of others (eg Sun Sch) and often or not, seen loitering during shopping trips....hhhmm often he's the one doing shopping...there was once we were in a Nike shop checking out shoes for him and there was a pair we were keen but it wasn't his size, he insisted taking off his shoes and wearing that pair...the salesgirl was at the corner laughing at this boy coz he placed his own old shoes on the rack....insisting to wear the new pair...since then, we never dared to bring him to enter shoe shop coz it always end up having to pull him out from the shop
He's also a little helper these days...every morning he will help mama to pull the comforter and make the bed when we wake up....he will even fuss if mama did the bed wo his help sigh and he has to throw his own diaper...there was once mama threw away and he fussed for so so long....guess he's old enough to do some bit of these household chores....he most wilingly will help u coz he knows there is a thank you word as a reward....and he will point to where mama is supposed to keep some things coz he rem where they were kept....
we thank God as Ian is never a fussy eater....except for carrots, pumpkin, potatoes...he's fine with any food he even took a pc of raw salmon when we visited a Jap restaurant this mth....he seemed fine except for his infrequent pooing so we gather its due to his molar not fully grown yet...he enjoys feeding himself and from the clip, he's getting better at feeding himself as the mess gets lesser hehee...we just wonder if he's gonna be left or right handed coz he seems to be able to use both hands to feed....well guess a little of genes from both parents huh
We are often awed by his memory power....he can rem things quite well....even aft a night's sleep, he can recall the things that happened the previous nite....and lately he has been singing a fish song taught by his jiu-mu that goes something like 'all the fishes in the water, swimming in the water, bubble and splash!' he just loves the part to say bubble and splash! He can sing before he sleeps and when he's in the car....he is just amused by the song....and for places we have been before, he would instruct us how to go and turn to get to the place and even anticipate what activity he was gonna do....just wondering how to tap on his memory power
He's also quite gd with his balancing as we would recall he would be able to squat on his legs for a gd long time when he was real young...barely evening walking yet...and now he loves to try thrilling balancing acts in playground...at home, he loves to stand on daddy's back on the bed...and then falling off and bouncing on the bed....he also loves falling back on the sofa....guess he's just active on his own...lately he has learnt to run so we are getting more careful esp when he doesn't like to hold our hands and walk....well he still fusses abt walking sometimes and we are learning to not to give in but surprisingly he only makes requests to us coz recently we were out with dayi and he was fine to walk with dayi as he was told to walk on his own and so we guess he might be just be more ok to walk with pple he dun hold hands with so often...the other person he loves to hold hand with is Seth gor2....he will want to follow where this boy boy is going
We are just glad this boy is growing well and he's happy with his childhood as often in this comparison obsessed society....pple are asking why dun send him to classes when we think ought to be enjoying his childhood and these classes can wait...recently read a book on Parenting: from surviving to thriving...its a reminder that this child is specially wrapped for us...indeed we wanna thank God for this special bundle of joy...tho it can be tough to discipline him, we know we are doing this so that he can be better shaped for God's use....
