Since last yr coming back from church camp and Ian's sleeping thru the nite so po2 asked to have Ian to stay over at her pl in the mid week. The 1st time was a 3D3N camp (coz jiu2 fetched Ian over on a tue nite) and that v 2 nites we could hardly sleep soundly coz the little one missing from home seems real weird....tho it was time off for mama, somehow things seem a little different...but mama had plenty of time to clean the room (ya something that was to be accomplished for a long time but with Ian ard it proved to be tough) and also to do her hair hahaa....time flies, its been a yr since Ian started staying over at po2's pl but it never made 1 time easier than before....guess mama still misses the little one in bed (ya could hardly sleep in when he's not in....such irony ahhaa)
But truly glad Ian's independent and has adapted so well with the staying over coz now with every Wed morning waking up, he knew it was going po2's place when he's put into the pram and taking the MRT route makes the whole routine sets in...when its time for mama to go, he would give his best wave and flying kiss for mama (altho it makes mama wonder if he ever misses them) but we know he's in gd hands and wanna thank po2 who ever willingly take him to places ard her place and buy food that he loves and plays toys as he wishes....just so thankful for the weekly 'time-off' mama could enjoy (be it shopping, gym or meet up with friends) and surely hope Ian would grow up closer and more appreciative of the grandparents coz as much as he brought so much joy to the folks, Ian could also feel the love and care given by them (as well as discipline when needed huh)
He was such a crawling toddler when he 1st stayed over busy himself with picking things off the ground till today, a toddler who busy himself with 'chores' ard the house like watering the plants for po2 (his fav pastime coz there isn't any plant back our home hehee) much memories mama could not capture every moment but will snap here and there so that he can relive the memories when he's older =) such precious moments are worth remembering =)
