Finale to the wk's break!

Yes, we started mar hols w a chalet stay over. Gd that we came back for some days to clear his homework b4 another 3 days out of home. Thu we went zoo, yest was JB movie day n tdy is out to adventure cove n pizza making. 

Guess Ian's excited each time he knows daddy is on lve as last nite he gave thanks for daddy to bring us out to msia n little did he know more fun was coming tdy. He had a Gd nite rest n awoke to more adventure. He rem lazy pool n wave pool but tdy was more, he enjoyed the big bucket treehouse which had slides he enjoyed so much w a lot of splashing. He is rather reserved abt trying the rainbow reef n was crazy chasing every wave at the wave pool n was dozing off lazing on the adventure pool. Guess the Gd few hrs we spent there was a lot of laughter n fun we 4 shared as Joann was into every splashing activity n Ian was busy with the splashing too! So much so he din feel hungry until aft shower. Was even eating Joann's tomato! Guess the fun made us forget all the hunger n thirst. 

Really thanking God for such fine weather n we treasured every moment we had there n din bring camera into water so we took pics of where we went when we were dry n walking out of the water park. Guess we all enjoyed the park!

We then went for pizza making at uncle Kenneth's pl where auntie Salome v kindly invited us for the session n dinner thereaft. The kids enjoyed the mixing of yeast n seeing it work through the dough, kneading the dough n even spreading the toppings! The kids had so much fun even much laughter as they were punching the dough n later had the pizza dinner. What a rare opportunity for them to bake as it was a mess but glad this couple still invited us over aft a session of mess at the last cake baking session. We thank God for such couple friends who so loved the kids n invited us all over for the Gd time together n fellowship.

This is the finale to Ian's 1st Sch hols in pri Sch n a v deserved one aft such hectic pri Sch life. Yes, he was initially abit worried abt the heap of school work he has but could enjoy this much aft he has completed them all. Next hols would b a longer n more fun one!

Visit to the zoo

It's been a long while since we went to zoo but Ian's going there w his school next fri so tdy was a preview. Well tdy we were surprised w such a bright sunshine morning n saw a whole crowd of pple at the zoo. Guess it's mar hols so everyone is out to seize the break!

We started w frozen tuncan which was a revamped polar bear place n was really cool. Yes not only the climate but the Inuka bear as we saw him swim n flip in water. The kids enjoyed the cool air as they explored the igloo n had a Gd time there b4 we ventured to the splash safari n animals friends show. Was kindof nice as the kids r bigger now n Ian was reading all sorts of info given ard. Guess now that he can read, it makes a whole lot of diff. 

We had our usual packed chicken rice n then went for the rainforest fights back show b4 walking ard to see some feeding n of coz giraffe which Joann wanted. The kids requested to go igloo area ard as weather was hot n we were waiting for baboon feeding. The kids were treated to slush on the hot day but we thank God for such fine weather as headed to baboon feeding as a closure to the trip as dark clouds came. Was a super duper Gd trip as we went to the places we intended n baboon feeding was a good finale as the kids enjoyed feeding them. We might just b back again soon!

Ian turns 7

It's a milestone our boy has reached, somehow 7 seems a huge milestone coz it's the start of his lifelong education. Well just seems the boy has grown too fast, wasn't it just not long we sent him to nursery? Haha n now a fine little boy who tries to out-talk us in some matters. 

Hmm as he grows up, he's so into counting down to his bday n yes, it's a wk long celebration as dayi bought 20 durian puffs on last fri, on his bday we bought a mango to ah maa & ah gong's pl to share. This fri we are going to chalet to hv a bday bash w po2's bday as we hv been getting a chalet stay for kids n this yr, it's gonna b combined w po2 as it's nearer to mar hols n also coz it's her 70th! What a long bday celeb for the boy n he's ever excited abt chalet stay n all the fun w his cousins! Just thanking God for bringing his boy who bring joy (n tears of coz) into our lives! We wouldn't trade for anything for this son of ours! U r truly our pride n joy!
