Fun at JB

Ian is always happy to go Malaysia but tdy abit apprehensive abt the drive there coz no toilet stop if there is a jam. Decided to go n test his bladder coz he's been at it for some wks. So glad he made it n it's just psychological barrier. 

We went for dim sum bf as he requested but the usual one we go is closed for Gd n tried a new branch which was so so n little variety but was Gd coz we tend to overeat haha. Did tesco b4 going the mall as the kids kept asking for jusco. 

Went to buy movie tics n did shopping n arcade of course, n now Ian is into those fishing sweets machine but tdy the machine is fishing out cars n hmm tried twice n Gd thigh we got 2 cars, 1 for each kid sigh to b fair. Then went on to fishing for balls which proved to b easier as Ian did on his own n got 3 balls. Super happy n kept wanting to try that. Well got on to usual bowling n playing ard some machines like soccer game he played w daddy n the driving car machines which they can't reach the paddle, it is just a fun place we couldn't miss each time we go the mall.

Went for some shopping n lunch n then was movie time. The boy just loved the pop corn was at it the whole time w munching sister ard too. Guess the show is nice w all the songs n a lot of Brazilian scenes at Rio de Janeiro which was nice. It's just cheaper to watch movie in msia huh tho we din make it for early bird but it's a nice family time out n the kids loved chasing ard hmm. Just a time out of the usual routine back home

Ian is 7 yrs and a mth old

A mth has passed since he turned 7 n a lot has taken place in this mth. We had a family chalet at NSRCC n he visited the zoo twice (once during mar hols n another w his class), we went to adventure cove n even had a pizza making session. Well it's a lot for his bday mth. 

Yeah he's sad to bid farewell to mth of March. He had a bday bookmark fm his form teacher n found out a classmate who shares the same birthdate as him. What a rare chance! He's getting accustomed to going to Sch n reading time as he would bug his daddy if he is gonna b late for Sch n he is so conscious of time aft he started p1 n has a watch w him. Still a v much playful part of him as wanna play when back home n wigs to have longer wkends. A lot more squabbles w his sister who has become more vocal of her rights so they squabble much tho they don't meet for long time daily, well well this is part of sibling hood eh. Guess more learning to live harmoniously is needed tho they can play well at times ESP monkeying ard sigh. 

Well well another mth of routine n more PH this mth but more studying too I guess as he enters into term 2 of p1. 

Learning journey to the zoo!

A post dated update- Ian went for his 1st learning journey to the spore zoo last fri. Yes, we just went during mar hols n he's there again but w his class. N mama tagged along as volunteer, hmm a super hot weather w the kids. It was tough walking w a class of 27 kids w most mama hardly know. So to gather the kids was tough w other 7 classes. Mama was allocated to look aft 9 kids to take chartered bus there as Ian's class was split among 3 buses. So it was a time to unite w the class upon reaching the zoo. 

We 1st hit to the treetop trail where kids were excited to check out the animals. Then was the otter n heard some monkeys calling along the way. It was then a walk to the splash safari show but the kids were getting hungry n tired. With much effort n pushing, we then reached for the sea lion show where the kids enjoyed n ate to hv more energy to continue the walk to the fragile forest where the kids enjoyed the upclose personal encounter w the mouse deer, bats, lemur, butterflies n insects. It was a fast walk thru as the kids requested for the visit to polar bear where they were treated to some air con. Ya the time seem so short to visit the zoo but guess the kids enjoyed it though it was tiring. As a parent volunteer, managed to know some of Ian's friends n even capture a few shots of the trip!
