JB staycation

For the mar hols, it was a lot of stay home n stay over at po2's pl coz Ian wasn't well for the week but glad we have a short getaway just for the family as daddy would b going away for a week of biz trip. So it was time w daddy during last bit of mar hols. 

Ian is always excited abt hotel stay n whenever we say we r going Msia, he would assume we r going stay hotel. This time he even prep his sister coz his sister has been so into staying over po2's pl, she almost dun wanna come home on thur nite till the dear gor2 'leaked' out the secret hmm so they packed their luggage as usual n ian brought a lot of stuff to keep 'entertained' in the room.

Well we started the stay with him n daddy going for a movie - ah boys to men n think they enjoyed v much as they shared some 'common jokes' fm the movie. It's Gd time for daddy to tell him more abt NS!

Back to room was a lot of food n fun coz the males bought dinner back while we enjoyed the food in comfort n played some games while daddy went to get supper! See the big bao Joann held in the pic! So big we all had to take a shot w it haha. This hotel holds a lot of memories coz it's really near the custom so we used to come b4 we had kids n the last we came was when Ian was a few mths old. Pity we din go pool as the weather din look Gd n at times the pool was too crowded but the kids had their fun in the bath tub! It's such fun moments they really enjoyed company! Just glad we r able to hv such family moments n ended with a celeb for mei2 turning 3.5 yrs old

Happy 8th birthday to our 1st born!

Too hectic a wkend n forgot to blog abt his bday. His bday wkend started on fri w celeb at po2 n ah Gong's pl n we even did a yusheng together (thanks to innovative po2) n Dayi fulfilled the bday wish of Ian to hv macaron on his bday cake! Yes, the fav food he liked which he shared at his last show n tell in Sch, well well dayi sure pampers this boy as she bought a box of it n placed only some on the cheesecake we bought. The rest to share n for him to Dabao home hmm. That nite he stayed over at po2's pl w mei2 which has been his wish n now tests are over

Sat was his wish to go a slide pool n since tests r over we headed to sengkang. Both kids had whale of a time n Ian went endlessly on the slides either w us or on his own. 

Sun was his time to hv his bday songs fm his Sunday Sch n even choir. Then it was celeb at ah maa n ah Gong's pl n this boy so happy to celeb w his cousins n had Oreo cheesecake!

Next day was his the day n off he went Sch w his big bag of goodie bags for his teachers n friends sigh yes, at such age we are still getting goodie bags for him! Then we went for bday celeb at swensen's as dayi shared w him abt the complimentary firehouse ice cream he could get on his bday. What a happy boy to eat n have ice cream treat on his special day!
