GOLDEN TICKET
For some mths in sch Ian has been eyeing on the golden ticket given by his sch lib but he has never won any. It entitled the kid to some movie screening after sch hours. Tdy we visited the Discovery Ctr, coz it is sch hols and coinciding with Christmas there were a few programs for kids. Our highlight was to watch Sing the movie and didn't expect more fun at the place. We haven't been here for some time and it does reminisces of the past yrs when we went that place when Ian was so little and Joann was barely walking ard. Tdy both kids were roaming ard the different stations knowing what they like eg the game stations when we acted as participants.
Today's theme was of occupations of the past and they could be architect. news reporter, soccer player, doctor or soldier and going ard the booths they could get stamps and get a prize. We went thru all the stations and was kindof fun for them. We watched the movie 'Sing' and it was inspirational as the animals who acted as characters could sing really well and quite awed by their songs. But ending was nice when they all overcame their fears or even problems to get into the singing act together.
Then we roamed the exhibits and we did read that there was an event Let it Snow at 1;30pm and we were early for it, Ian spotted the top prize was golden ticket of $50 capital mall vouchers and he was really aiming for it. SO much so that insisted mummy to participate as well. He went into the chamber thingy with Joann and were given seconds to be in there to catch as much tickets and to choose the 1 ticket they would love to win. And this boy had strategise to step on the golden ticket and then pick it up when all other tickets were floating ard. He wasn't sure if he could get hold of it but true enough he picked up the top prize. The organisers took pic of us and posted on their FB page and managed to capture a shot to blog about it. And here's the delighted boy with his golden ticket to end the year =)

3 day children's camp
Joann's sch is in Jubilee Church and every yr end they hold children's camp and coz the entry age is 5 and this yr we got invited to attend and so we sent Ian and Joann for the camp. Ian attended it when he was 5 yo too but coz we have been travelling every yr which coincides with the camp date. So this is the 1st yr both kids could attend together and was kindof nice to have them going for something they both would benefit and learn much from.
he theme is Catch Jesus in Action and its about what Jesus does for us (He chooses us, He takes care of us, He heals us, He provides for us) Pretty cool for the theme of Galilee by the sea and from the way the kids tell us, every day is sth new and fun for them. Was abit apprehensive of how Joann will take it as in her tiredness and her ability to vocalise her thots since she is the youngest camper but with the brother and Joy cousin who are there, we know she is in good hands and they tell us how much she eats and they will help her here and there. The camp ended with a concert for the parents to know what our kids went thru and they learnt so many songs and though camp ended a week already but they are still singing 'How great is our God' and many other lovely songs which I would have wished they could sing daily of such reminders of how our God is good and how he is more than just a man. Glad we got hold of the pics so we could rem of this 3 days camp they went.
Our 1st family mission trip 18-22 Nov 2016
We have been planning for a family mission trip for some time but couldn't find a good time and plus my dad hasn't been well lately so weren't sure if we could make it for a 3 generation mission trip. Glad Elena had us in the plan to Takhmao, Cambodia and we were there to teach English lesson and was good exposure for our kids coz the kids were about their age and teaching them simple English might be more fun teaching their peers. So the kids were teaching the Cambodian kids while we were there to supervise their planning and teaching. Upper room ministry is interesting and its to the rural kids and it was eye opener for our kids to see how village is like coz we took a bumpy ride into the village coz of the poor laying of road. We were into this hotel just opposite the upper room and was convenient to just cross the street to be there. It was newly built so was kindof nice for us to stay in and could go the local mkt to soak in the village living. Though we couldn't speak v much of their Khmer language, guess our kids attracted them a lot and the kids were hanging out at the church pretty much of the time and just running ard and drawing with them just made the few days seem passed so fast.
We had 2 sessions of English lessons and some workshops and even computer lessons. The last day, we did a little skit at the Sunday school and to drive home the message to spend time with God is more important than anything. Their kind of fervour to sing and worship God kindof rub of us, remembering that God is the God of the whole earth and are we city dwellers losing our fervour more than these pple living in village. Guess too much technology made us losing our closeness to God. This is the takeaway from the mission trip for us. So rule was no iPhone or ipad for the kids throughout the trip. Its just down to us and with the Cambodians for the few days there. They will be in our minds etched with the prayer needs for them and the church, I hope the trip did change our kids somewhat.
The next stop we went was Phnom Penh city to tour the city and we stayed at Harvest House Inn which was run by the missionaries there and we had van to ferry us ard and it is horrendous traffic there as its always jam and bikes are everywhere so kindof a challenge to drive there so glad we went ard the Central Mkt, had the coconut ice cream. We visited the sch run by the missionaries and pretty awed by the kind of standard they are upholding in the city and how it has expanded for the past 20 yrs. It was kindof nice to see how Phnom Penh has changed and will be changing in the near future for the younger generations and now Cambodia places a special place in our hearts and our prayers go out for them.

Our Msia getaway
Our usual Msia getaway includes the kids' fav kidzania stop and LEGOLAND while we like Melaka so its our usual road trip but it's the 1st with our new car. The kids were excited that they woke up real early on 1st day and well good to beat the Tuas jam so we were into JB rather fast for breakfast before hitting to KL, petaling jaya and we tried for the 1st time at 1st world hotel and it was kinda nice coz they had kidzania package so it included extra bed for the kid and also afternoon tea. The kids (esp Ian) were v thrilled with the tea set as we were the only ones eating at the lounge and it was a huge set for us. Shopping is cool at 1 Utama coz its near convenient and lots of familiar shops there and well think our stay is not enough coz 2nd day was spent just at Kidzania. Tho it was Msia sch hols, it wasn't crowded like June and they had lots of new pop up stations which the kids loved as it was a Kids vs food challenge and we could even do the brick jelly with them. This time, Joann is more independent as she told us she is fine to do stuff alone and she went Macs and Vitagen on her own. Usually quite dependent on her gor2 to wear uniform for her, this time she did it by herself and was very confident of what she was doing, guess its coz of repeated visit and she was doing a few stations just her and the kidzania staff. The kids went endlessly ard the stations trying to clock more stamps and we left only at 6pm (we started at 10am) and Ian went on without food (guess buffet breakfast was full enough for him) and he clocked 21 stamps (with extra 3 food stations which didn't give stamps) and he had total of 700kidzo$. He went off really pleased with his achievement though he had target of 30 stations hmm guess will upgrade to ultimate passport next visit then. We took the hotel shuttle back hotel so we could only grab a quick dinner since we didn't expect to be out so late. There goes the kids' dream of eating at Ikea haha
Next day we hit to Melaka and its our fav town coz of its laybackness I guess. We qiong some more shopping b4 checking into Puri and then went our usual local mkt walk, had the yummy naans b4 going to the jonker street and its like back to old town we knew the places rather well but was kindof rush coz we only stayed 1 nite and so next day we hit straight to dao sa bia and then off to JB. Coz we had bad jam from KL to Melaka and were glad to JB was super fast so we went LEGOLAND since weather was really good and hot! We went to the new ride and the kids loved the ninjago rides and we were a couple of times to clock better scores hahahh guess its our fav ride coz its air con and even Joann could score in the shooting game. We did our few fav stops and were off to Granada hotel for more shopping and food and the kids' pokemon tretta arcade games. Next day was at LEGOLAND again coz we wanted some stops which were pretty long yesterday and had more rides and more ninjago shooting. We were burnt enough to go back already and guess we were all tired out from the fun and walks. It was a fun and chill out trip tho must say quite qiong with all the walking ard and going for endless rides but the kids loved it right.

UP picnic
Haven't been blogging as Olympic fever is on haha but last sat we attended this picnic at sbg as daddy read it on his coy's intranet as his coy co sponsor the event. Not widely publicized but was surprised by the turnout. It's not mega crowded like some picnics we hv been but this time we were more prepared like the event was at 6pm n we were there at 4+ making sure car parking was ok n we got a shady spot haha
Ok UP stands for unity n peace n was kindof cool to hv this event to inculcate this sharing spirit w our fellow sporeans n it was an acapella concert by various grps n we were treated to real cool music on a Saturday evening. We had strangers ard us but was kindof into sharing spirit tho we couldn't share our packed char Siew rice but shared this picnic mat that came w the goodie bag for this couple who din hv anything to sit on. They planning for a yearly event n we lovers of picnic would b keen to come again for surround music n kindof pyscho into making the world a better pl as we sang the song 'change the world' as an ending song to the event

3rd time being page boy
When we got the invite to b part of bridal party, Ian was most apprehensive to join haha Coz he said 'I am so old now!' Haha but guess it's w the cousins so no reason to say no. Tho we did scout abit for his clothes, rare to see him all dressed up, Shld find his past pics to do collage but it sure feels more shy as he grows up to b a page boy but guess it's w crowd that makes him focused as some said he was so focused he didn't even fling his eyes when pple tried to call him. Hmm wonder if he would say no at another page boy request haha our grown up boy!

Dinosaur escapade
Last wkend, daddy happened to want go GWC to buy something n we ended up having some dinosaur figurines n even dinosaur activity passes. For the girl who nv fancy dinosaur she was abit skeptical of the dinosaur fun that was given.
In each dinosaur figurine came w an hr free play at Amazonia indoor playground. We seized Tdy to check out the playground but before that we went for the dinosaur escapade which was going on in the atrium n since we had the activity passes so we head there 1st, it was all Abt dinosaur but there was a nice sandpit for kids to dig up dinosaur figurine n Joann went on digging as Ian filled up questionaire to complete it n they were given a token for that. A lot of kids passed by wanting to play the sand but only with passes can u enter n they even gave a dinosaur keeper vest to make u look like one haha
The kids were more looking fwd to the indoor playground n Ian has been once here for his Kindy friend's bday party but he forgotten Abt the play. Both kids had a blast here or rather Joann went ard exploring climbing up n all ard till we couldn't know where she was either on the trampoline or ball pit. Oh boy air con place but both came out super sweaty. Guess loads of energy expended with the giant slide they went, endless trampoline bouncing n throwing of balls at the ball pit. We would b back again Coz more vouchers given n kids can't wait to return again. A back to past experience for Ian

Our Msia trail 8-13 Jun 2016
As the kids asked for kidzania n legoland again so this hols we decided to do the Msia trail again n this brought so much cheer n surprise to them n us too
We started w kl, staying at the royale bintang the curve's family suite n the kids love the area Coz of proximity to kidzania n IKEA. Now they know where they are so kept asking for kidzania since so much advert on kidzania at the mall. As its Ramadan the kidzania was closing earlier n we had to make dashes thru the place as it was more crowded than our last visit n as the kids have the bkidzanian passport this time they had to clock 11 stns to upgrade to next passport n guess what we dashed thru wo taking lunch as the place closes at 4pm. Both kids had their choices of 'jobs' they wanted to do as they started together w pilot, a must queue Stn n so they queued that 1st n thereaft they did mostly together except for vitagen which Joann insisted to do n queued for an hr when Ian did life buoy n spritzer. Well a quick dash but the kids still love it esp the vitamin pharmacy one tho they had to dress up w full gear. Kids still talking Abt next visit hmm yes Joann wanted fireman n magician one which she din get to do this time
After kl, we headed to Melaka, a place we always go Coz we are so familiar w that place n love the feel of the town. We met up w ah mu's family n had baba n Charlie cafe for tea break aft Jap lunch. We checked into puri hotel which we haven't stayed for some time n to our pleasant surprise we were upgraded to their hibiscus suite which comes w double storey which the kids went running ard w the huge space they were given compared to the triple bed room we had initially booked for. So it was just nice as we celebrated ah baa's bday n the staff sang bday song as they presented the cake in the suite. Then we had jonker fun n shopping too as we got Ian's bike which we din expect to pick up
Last stop was at JB just for the kids to go legoland since they have been bugging for longest time as Joann is bigger now she is able to take most rides, guess she has been deprived of it as our annual passes ceased 3 yrs ago n we stopped coming, this time was a surprise for them as there was a promo for annual pass going on n it seems more worth to buy it rather than day pass so wonder if we would come more often. We went legoland on both days n we hit most of the rides n made the pass worth n so glad Joann is keen to take the rides w us n her 1st roller coaster ride Coz initially was apprehensive Abt her daring to take but our girl has grown up n was dashing to drive a car which has always been her dream haha n her endless horsey ride since it was not so packed at legoland anymore. N Ian signed up for robotics workshop n said he would wanna go again next time as it is fun. Well now we have got annual pass would we b going more often to buy sun burnt hmm

Ian is 9 yrs n a mth old
This mth had a few pics from fb of Ian some 4 yrs ago n feels he looks the same except puffier haha n Joann looks like him so after all they do look alike!
Ian kind of settled into p3 life, think he is making more friends (tho can't tell me his best friend) in his new class since his 'old' friends don't clique so much now. His prefect role finally came in n he was beaming on the day he walked out to meet me aft Sch w his prefect badge pinned on. Well more duties, my dear son n heavy responsibility to b a prefect. He came down w bad swelling of his right eye so missed his 1st prefect duty haha. He cried on that morning when he says he doesn't want to go Sch w such swollen eye. So glad the prescribed anti biotic by the GP cleared his eye over the wkend n he was fine to go church n berries on Sunday. He learnt not to rub eyes too much sigh n vain boy din dare go out wo sunglasses n he wore mummy's to see doc to b teased by some uncles haha. last fri when he did his prefect duty he was so tense so the principal came by to prep him of his duty honor to b briefed by P huh
Other than these happenings, our boy is still v foodie boy looking at pics most of the time he posed w food for me to take haha well by this cute boy colored a verse colouring sheet w a verse for me n dunno what to buy for my bday, he clipped some $ for me haha such practical but yet traditional way of thinking haha that is our boy n just watching u grow up is so endearing!

A special day out
Daddy got discovery tics Tdy to watch kungfu panda n kids were thrilled when we reached there Coz we gave them no clues that we were going there. Upon walking in, there were so much memories of this pl, we haven't been here for some time n this was the pl we used to come so often for movies when Ian was Joann's age now. Rem those days when we had to carry Joann in here n even when she was just tottering ard. Just flood of memories n how Ian loved the various corners of this pl. coming back to this pl Tdy, it's just different w Joann all grown up, we were reminiscing those days we talked to robot George n how he sang haha. We played the games n kids just loved the buzzing of buttons like some game show n then was the movie. We haven't watch 3D show for long time n Ian was thrilled w the pop ups n Joann wasn't so comfy w the glasses but it was a good show for Ian to know u would always b you if u don't try to do much more. Din expect to have much take away but ended up lots to learn from Po, he's such a jovial panda n not wanting to stay as he was n moving on to do so much more!
Then we hurried off for Huiling gu2's baby shower. Must say we haven't been to one for some time n we Shld b busy going for more in these few mths. It was at the same venue as where we had joann's baby shower n just walking in, loads of memories of the day we had it there too. We rem where to park n where the function room was n was telling our dear girl how she was like the baby girl Tdy just sleeping away when everyone else was busy eating n chatting away. Tdy Joann was busy chasing the pink balloons n how fast she has grown up to join the older kids in such fun. Yes, she can pray tonite to thank God for such fun n yes Tdy it's a special day for us as we walked some parts of our memory lane. Quite an unexpected wkend we have!

JB getaway 18-19 mar
It's been a routine for us to stay at puteri hotel for a staycation Becoz we like the vicinity of eateries n shopping n Coz the kids love the bath tubs (yea realized not all hotels come w bath tubs so it's a hit for us) a year ago we came here too but it was a trip just b4 daddy's biz trip so quite good to b back n the kids just love it when they awake to such morning calls to JB. Wonder why, guess it's the endless fun of eating, playing, shopping n just being us having all the time together. Someone asked us why we like going JB staycation guess it's the time spent together n doing things we like. 1st day we hit to tebrau for shopping n got Joann her inline skates (yea doing more skating for her on wkends) and the kids loved dayi coming w us so we had special company w us on 1st day Coz we parted at city square as she makes her way back for usual family dinner. We planned for food street dinner but it rained a little so we had ah koong's noodles but the kids slurped all up nonetheless n weather was better aft our M&S shopping n all, daddy went by to pick up some supper haha our must take family pic w the big big bao!
Next day was simple bread bf Coz we knew we were into Korean food feasting n the kids love the bbq meat while we like the sides Coz nowhere else can we get such generous sides! N kids have lollipop to end the meal so such a treat! They had arcade fun n then was movie time. Was v crowded as cinema which we never met such crowd b4 but glad we watched zootopia Coz was such a meaningful show n Ian liked it too. Guess we would enjoy it more than kf panda 3 tho everywhere was the poster. Then was more shopping n4 we hit home n glad we did it early Coz it was such bad jam, wonder issit Coz it's Sch hols but nv met such grueling jam n glad we packed Macs for dinner in car Coz by the time we were home we had already finished our dinner on car. Such a great trip n never could forget to thank God for every trip we make Coz so much memories for us!

Ian is 9yrs old
Had a series of bday celebration for Ian b4 he is off for camp. Dayi got a really pretty cake last Friday - promegranade red velvet cal Ian loved it. Tks dayi n for the present for him n for all ur prayers for his Sch camp.
Sun bought a Oreo cheesecake to celebrate w the iongs n another fav cake of Ian n a celebration b4 he goes for Sch camp. Anxiety fills his tummy but had a good rest b4 going home
Tdy we picked him aft Sch n requested to go swensens to celebrate n for a record, we got 3 ice creams Coz of his bday! The usual firehouse on his bday, a mini coit tower Coz of his kids club n his mthly treat of a scoop of ice cream. A Rare rare ice cream treat n made both kids really happy! What a happy end to bday celebration n truly glad Ian is back from camp b4 his bday n he din need to celebrate bday in zoo haha. Happy birthday our son n continue to grow into Christ likeness
Back fm Sch camp
Ian is back from camp!!! But he came out of Sch looking really lethargic then he claimed he barely slept couple of hours as his tent mate was snoring away so keep him up till late n woke up real early again. He said weather was good n food too just not enjoyable sleep. He had fun behind the scene of zoo n nite safari was fun. He wasn't allowed to take pics at some places so not much pics.
A lot to share Abt his friends n din allow him to sleep so he was kept busy doing his stuff, play w mei2 n catching on tv. Wanted to watch more but forced him to go sleep at 7 n guess tired body so slept thru till morning, nothing beats sleeping back at home. Hope he is more prepared for next yr 2 nite camp haha n eventually 3 mth BMT look at his tired looking face when we tried to take pic

1st Sch camp n off to the zoo
Ian has been most anxious for this day to come- his Sch camp to the zoo. He requested several times if he could skip the camp but he knows it's tough Coz teacher has been drumming into them that it's need valid reason to skip. He came down w cough some days back but recovering well so he packed his bag (for several times tho to make sure he doesn't miss out anything haha) well good that the Sch has a build up to such camping experience as p3 it's 2d1n, p4 it's 3d2n n p5 it's overseas trip n guess when they step into sec Sch they r trained to go such camps n maybe eventually to BMT, our son would b more ready haha. Now he looks like he is off to BMT, he did ask if his bag looks too big but we'll just glad he packed everything in n he is big enough to carry the big haversack. Am sure he would enjoy himself as the prog looks really cool- the behind the scene of the zoo which we don't get to see. He brought a camera n let's see what shots he got n hope he won't b home like the panda in the zoo haha

It takes a whole family to join a cca
Haha yes, v exciting as our 1st born starts his cca this yr n as parents, we strongly encouraged him to join a sport. Coz the Sch system works that u write ur 3 choices of cca n it depends on Sch how they allocate according to demand n supply. Our boy took a long time to decide tho we knew we would hv to do this sooner or later, it din come easy. He was initially reluctant to choose a sport but we reasoned w him that it's the best time to pick up a new sport. He agreed somehow n so his 1st choice was table tennis, 2nd was basketball n 3rd art club. He's a person who needs company n so 2nd n 3rd choice was Coz he had friend/cousin in the club. Table tennis was sth we cajole him to join Coz we parents enjoyed the sport n it's the most unlikely sport to 'get hurt' Coz he is afraid of rough play haha.
He was so glad he got into table tennis but he missed the 1st cca day Coz he was on mc so his 2nd cca day he was very very very anxious Coz he din know what to expect. We were so so glad he came home v happy Coz he had a classmate in the same sport (tho only 4 p3 kids were into that cca, yea wonder where else everyone gone to) n he enjoyed playing the game tho he had his 1st try on the bat only.
It's been a while since he bugged us to play w him n we finally found the bats we bought sometime ago n playing at home on the floor brought much fun to the kids. Tdy we tried scouting for table tennis table to play (yes scout everywhere from void decks to cc to even psa club haha) ended up we found this long seat with metal bar in between to act as net n we played over an hr there haha tho the residents passed us n gave us many funny grins. Who cares when our family had so much fun just playing n picking endless balls Coz the kids can't play yet. Now we know where to expend our energy n work out haha. Here is a wefie we took at where we 'played' table tennis but we really know where to find a proper table n we would post it when we really could play properly 1 day haha look at our pro posts for now
Ian is a mth away from his 9th bday
Yes, so fast our boy is turning 9 n by the time he celebrates his 9th bday he might b in sleepy state haha Coz he would b going for his p3 zoo camp just b4 his day (in a way glad he wasn't going to celebrate his bday at his Sch camp haha)
This mth had been a sickly mth, we realized this boy hasn't fallen so ill since his Kindy days so when he came down w fever, we really din know what to do. We were Abt to send him to Sch till he told us he felt v hot sigh n then seeing nearby doc din make his fever subside n yet escalated. Gave mei2's ibuprofen but din help Coz din know his dosage n gave too little so went back usual doc n so glad the fever came under control tho he missed 2 days of Sch already n thankfully had cousin to help him get his homework. So far he hasn't fallen so ill to need us to render such help. He got totally was a meal each day for a whole wk. yes, losing weight time but it sure din feel good to have such a sick son. Again had to appreciate good health. So we begin to toss to good health for the new year n sure look fwd to more healthy days n years!
CNY fun
Somehow this yr the kids took really long to recall the usual CNY schedule (even for Ian) just Coz last yr we had a different one i.e. we went sitiawan to celeb. N had to set rules Abt snacking esp for Joann who really dares to snack on all kinds of food! We had 2 rounds of reunion dinners as usual but eve of eve was with Iong family n eve was w Chng family. Just endless feasting starts w CNY. Could see the amt of food prep n had to control on the amount hmm.
This time we went busy visitation on 1st day and some on 2nd day n we are almost done. Guess it was tiring n to tune back to Sch on wed except for Joann who had CNY celeb. It was fun catching up w relatives n glad to b in town for CNY, somehow it's just nice to b home I guess. Some family shots we managed to take

Achievement unlocked!
In the hols, tried to cajole Ian to do more climbing since his sis is so into it but he often rejected it. During church camp, kind of forced him to do but ended up in tears so he owed 1 session of this spidey climbing so since Sch kicked it, our sat is to spend outdoors so went west coast park just for him n his dear sis rem n reminded him haha.
To our total surprise, he was rather game to climb tho his 1st try he almost wanted to climb back tho he was near the top n couldn't figure out how to get to the slide. He finally did it n thereafter he got so used to it n kept climbing like what his sis did at changi village. Pay back time? Haha glad he overcame it n told him it's akin to problems he faces in life. Not to turn just coz he failed but think of the keep trying spirit. Hope it gets into him but he felt so accomplished at the end of it n asked to go back again. Tdy's hot weather prob got us quite burnt! But totally worth it!
Finally a prize for me!
These were the words exclaimed by Ian when he heard he won a colouring contest. Last dec we read that ARC mall (the mall we frequent coz of Ian goes attend berries class there) was having a Christmas colouring contest so the kids just took the form home n the assignment they did was to colour on their own. Ian has always enjoyed colouring n so he has envied his sister of winning at the last colouring contest. But this contest paper is diff one i.e. It's smooth surface so colour pencil won't work so the kids started using markers n being the older kid he could control the colors well unlike his sis.
Ian liked his final art piece n din bear to send it for the contest (ya who on earth doesn't submit his art piece n keep at home) n the contest reads that lucky winners get to win vouchers n he thinks it sounded like it's lucky dip n he claims Joann seems to b the one with such 'luck' (tho told him it's not luck that we believe in) coz Joann did win the Lego lucky dip. Aft much convincing (v much convincing till the extent to take photo of it n print it out) he finally agreed to send in his colour sheet. We din think much of it n when the email came it was a pleasant surprise for him n it certainly made his art 'affirmed' coz so far he's nv won at any contest tho I must say he takes a lot of pride in such art stuff which so far he only get praises from Sch teacher n finally his work got off! Just a little token to recognize his art

Our 1st staycation in 2016
Daddy booked a 'secret' staycation for the family which mama chanced upon it coz wanted to go JB so daddy had to unveil we going on new yr's day, guess it's for our 10th anniversary since we have always had staycation for past yrs anniversary. With kids going Sch it's tougher to go on actual day but this turned out a great time together. According to Ian, it's the happiest day tdy!
We left real early on new yr's day, we literally carried Joann into car in her PJ but she woke up real soon out of home. With so early trip we made it into JB real early n were at tesco even b4 it opened haha rare opportunity so we had great time there. Then was aeon to watch Alvin n chipmunks. We made it for early bird n it's nv so cheap to watch movies in sg. We then had lunch n shopped ard tho kids can't wait to check into hotel.
For the 1st time we stayed at mutiara hotel which was near ksl mall. It's v near where mama used to go in Sch hols when she was in Pri Sch w her family. Oh holiday plaza so much memories as we walked thru it. That was yester yrs! We headed to ksl so much talked Abt, Joann kept asking for her 'car ride', we weren't sure if she could manovere but she did really well. We got her guards in prep for her inline skating lessons. She is most excited, kept asking for her skates. Well hope she is so enthu thru her lessons.
A quick dinner n we, the whole family that is, all went for hair cut in prep for new yr haha even the hair stylist also teased so cool mummy go saloon w daughter n daddy w son. Then we walked back to hotel n got a lot of surprise buys at holiday plaza.
Tdy we had our 1st buffet breakfast at hotel n Ian sure enjoyed it again! See the smile on his face, then we went tebrau n kids wanted arcade again tho yest we went. To make up for what we din let them play at gardens by the bay, tdy they had their games at the machines n both surprisingly caught sth to bring home. Well it's still not easy as the kids realized but won't mind let them try since it's so much cheaper in Msia! Well happy end as we walked ard to shop. Oh CNY mood is already in the air, we just passed new yr! Had a lunch at nando's n more shopping b4 we headed home! It's a fun filled trip tho short but sure spur the kids into the new yr with more exciting months coming up! Happy 2016
