Ian turns 32 mths old!

This past mth seems the longest mth coz we spent an entire wk of hols and time together as a family builds the family unit and we spent so much time with Ian that we had so much fun with this little boy. As much as he brings much cheer and joy to us, he brought the same to po2, ah gong and dayi. This was a gd wk of capturing nice pics of Ian =) guess with all his 'cheeses', it just got better!
He has this liking for rabbits (apart from piglet) and whenever we went ah mu's pl, he's sure to pick up Seth's gor2's rabbit soft toy and even when we were at this shop during the Aust trip, he went for this rabbit toy and insisted we get it for him (glad its just 50cents) and it 'entertained' him thru the trip.
We have been always strict abt the sweet stuff he takes and made sure he never over indulge in it but this trip we just gave him more freedom. He had such a gd time at the Chocolate Shop, yogurt and ice cream shops! Guess he has a little sweet tooth just like his daddy. Upon returning home, 1 nite he saw daddy savoring this last bit of chocolate which po2 intended to bring back but somehow it landed with us and he was actually 'competing' with his daddy to see who eats more of the choc chips. Guess his wkly intake of sugar comes from Sunday Sch where candies and chocs are given out to kids....sigh guess we need to reduce his sugar intake.
During the trip he had couple of lollies (which is rare for him coz we dun encourage endless sucking of lolly) but well its just a treat from po2 to him, guess he knows who to go for sweet treat now! That was an 'indulgent' trip hahaha
Just the other day during his camping at po2's place, he had endless requests for sweets so po2 decided to ask him to call mama to see if he was allowed to have more. To mama's surprise, after mama said NO to him on the phone, he packed the sweet back into container and told po2 that mama said 'NO' well quite an obedient boy I must say

During the trip, Ian has proven to be a boy who's suited for travelling. Since he was young, we made sure he had balanced diet so we din want to go for all vege, all meat or all organic food so that when he grows up he won't be such a fussy eater and also when we travel he could just eat whatever is in his plate. So for all the meals, he ate the celery, carrot, meat pieces be it rice or noodle, he will just finish it clean! And he could eat on his own even attempting to use chopsticks just coz the rest of us were using it. Kindof proud of this, my boy! It makes it much easier without having to coax him to eat.
The only meal he proved to be tough was Fish and Chips (maybe we shouldn't have taken that as well!) coz he was going for chips more than fish....hhmm well during our 2 visits to subway, he was game for sandwiches as well( tho mama was a bit skeptical whether he would like the hardy sandwich) but he ate well and enjoyed it thru!

Tho this is his 2nd flight, he was totally excited abt taking the plane and din quite want to take a wink till he was really tired and finally dozed off. Guess compared to his 1st flight, he sure knows more and easier to bring along. We did have some crying babies on plane and we were just glad we brought Ian on plane when he was bigger coz it was easier to distract him with other stuff like food and puzzles when he was confined to his seat and have to be buckled up! Now he knows when the buckle sign is on, he needs to sit down and buckle up! With that, he is asking for more plane trips and endless asking of daddy when we could go Australia again hehee...even ah maa is surprised he could say he wanna go AUSTRALIA!! Endless asking us abt this hhmm...my son, u gonna earn money to go this far leh!

Here's a donut treat to our son who is turning 32 mths! We headed to J Co last Sat and he was thrilled with the donuts....usually he has the plain glazed one but mama knowing this boy doesn't like nuts, so we got the nut one coz we will eat the top while he finishes the bottom! haha upon returning the trip, he has been asking for chocolate so in exchange, we have been giving him Nutella spread on bread and he's never tired of eating it every day! That's his dose of choc hahaa

Ian is so easy with food. Arrggh...Javier is so fuss...sometimes he like porridge..the next day he can refuse his mouth when fed porridge. and sometimes he insist on taking plain rice...not a bit of food mix with the rice. must be absolutely plain. sigh.
