Ian has been most fascinated by Singapore flyer or shld we say, using Spore Flyer as the compass pt to where he is going coz he will go to all places and ask 'where is Spore flyer?' and we were almost deciding to sign up a credit card that allows 2 person to go Spore flyer for free since we won't pay for the ride that is almost $1/min....while we were still deciding then a surprise came up....rem we went for the hippo tours some wks back....ya, apparently mama felt it was badly organised (hhmm coming from a customer centric background) so made some 'feedback' abt having to stand under sun and not knowing where to go blah blah and the person i/c surprised mama by offering Spore flyers tics for 'compensating' hahaa and its not 2 tics...its 7 tickets!! Most delighted to hear that and it was couriered to our place =) cheers to the National Family council in their svc recovery huh hahaa.....
And so we had to choose a gd day to take the ride....here we are on a Fri evening (since daddy was off that day coz he worked overnite the day before) and we wanted to catch a sunset! Here we are waiting for our gondola and see how excited Ian looked....with his tickets!
And here he is with a pose of the background of some fest at the F1 pit and there were some 'sports car'! Well he's most excited to ride on the much talked abt Spore flyer! ya we kept mum abt it till we were done with dinner and even prior to dinner, Ian was asking abt going Spore flyer since we had dinner near there and when we passed by he was requesting for it....dream coming true huh wonder if he slept better that nite =p
And here are the 3 kids taking a pose before the sun is gonna set but how ill-prepared we were coz mama forgot to bring the video cam (left it in daddy's car) and the camera batt went flat as the spare was in the video cam's bag....gooonnzzzz anw relied on the hp camera then!
Yes, here's the final shot we took before the sun really set coz we experienced the contrast as it was still bright when we embark on the ride and when we went off from the gondola it was quite dark...did take a video on the hp will try to upload it....well verdict was it is definitely an experience but NOT WORTH paying so much for the rides.....guess its more touristy than ever like if we go London we will take London Eye but for Spore....think pinnacles at Duxton 50th sky garden is a gd choice....except it doesn't move but anw the kids were asking how come its not moving faster....guess they were too used to ferris wheel! And Seth commented it was a little too long...well well anw this dream coming true is FOC so can't complain much =) just so thankful we could have part 2 of the family day out, at least we did sth we won't wanna pay for eg the Hippo bus and Spore flyer...anw if anyone keen its almost flying for half price with some voucher from the National Family Council to encourage folks to go with their families to fly on the flyer!
