And here comes the 5th birthday....FINALLY!!!

The Big 5 finally came hahhaaa after much anticipation and that boy's day started with a HIGH note as the daddy went to get him the Happy meal for his breakfast! Yes, such a treat huh and here's him enjoying it tho he did say he doesn't want celebration in sch....ya we won't do it again next yr sigh so much hassle hhahaa at least for us!

Sent him off to sch on sch bus and then we went to collect cake which is specially chosen by him this tweety cake altho he has never watched Looney Tunes cartoon sigh wonder why this bird anw guess was coz of the rainbow that he chose this design tho we still dun understand why the bird coz earlier he chose a pink cake with tweety and later he changed his mind tho we dissuaded him on the pink cake for a long time

After some waiting, the class finally marched down for their break and along the stairway some of the classmates already announced they saw 'Ian's mummy' hahhaaa that's the result of sending him to sch everyday last yr and gotten to know some of his friends and that boy was so shy when walking to his bday celeb and it's interesting to see how the kids all just gather ard so fast and all excited abt the cake that we din even get a chance to take a family pic hahhaaa coz daddy was taking camera and mama was video and best was mei2 was so gd in her pram that she was quiet all along (even wang lao shi also noticed she was gd in pram and finally dozes off coz she din take her morning nap yet and the lao shi teased the kids for being so noisy that the mei2 dozed off hahahaa ya indeed the class was noisy and the lao shi attribute it to the many BOYS!)

iT'S interesting to see who gathers near Ian as the boy sitting beside Ian is Alden and he is in Ian's grp and was Ian's partner last yr....adn the 2 gals behind are Ian's fav hahaa Isabelle and Emily adn the other boy is Eiden whom Ian shares biscuits with on sch bus coz he stays near us so they sit on sch bus together quite often! And the other boy in corner was also Ian's partner last yr tho they dun seem close but was surprised he came by quite fast too and there was another boy Timothy who went to sit opposite Ian while eating cake and was asking for more servings hahhaaa the kids really know who to sit with to snatch glamour huh hahhahaa

The kids were well behaved coz they were asked by the lao shi to endlessly greet us (ah yi and shu2 and even mei2 gd morning) adn even thank us for the cake and gifts....felt like some big shot hahhaa being greeted every other time! Well or issit already the tradition to go endlessly greeting every parent who comes along hhehee

Din capture much shots coz busy cutting the cake sigh and was endlessly asked for parts of the cake ie the tweety or the rainbow and even a boy asked for Ian's name hahhaaa strange requests adn then managed to talk to the lao shi and capture this close up shot coz she's his fav teacher so far and must say she's quite gd in teaching Ian the chinese words adn reading.....hhmm anw the boy went home asking for next yr's celebration tho he backed out
in the mornign well sigh will consider coz next yr it's on a Sat, start of the 1 wk break coz the day we went was end of term and there were quite a few bday celebs as some bdays fell on the Mar hols and parents wanted to celebrate....so we shall see huh hhmm anw glad the boy loved the glamour and fun!
