Happy birthday to daddy

For e past wk, Ian was getting excited abt daddy's bday. For some reason, he seemed more aware of birthdays this yr. he initiated to make daddy a card n in it he wrote 'thank you for fetching me to school'. There is alot of things daddy did for him but guess its e fetching him to Sch that made e top list coz he knows daddy rushes to work every day but he still made time to send him to Sch. There was this once daddy was so late that he dropped him off n told him to walk up on his own n he proudly shared it w mum abt this 'new' experience but when asked if daddy could do it fm then on, his reply was 'i still prefer daddy to send me off upstairs' hee it's nice to see them both holding hands n walking to car park daily.

On fri, we had celebration at ah gong n po2's pl n dayi got a nice choc cake for daddy. The kids made sure it was only daddy blowing out e candles haha maybe coz of previous experience at ah maa's pl, they were playing safe. Forgot to capture a shot but it was nice sharing bday there.

Yest, eve of daddy's bday we made a trip to JB hee for daddy to spend time w e 2 kids while mama went salon. Nice treat for mama as both kids went arcade w daddy for e joy rides, think Joann enjoyed it alot more coz she could 'roam' ard...see e pics of them so happy at a dim sum pl we found n later at e arcade.

Today, we had a nice bday lunch together n then bday celeb at ah gong ah maa's pl n daddy was reluctant to celebrate there coz guess when u r grown up, u r not too keen to do it but we got a cake anw n persuaded him to bring it there. Ian was shocked when he 1st heard daddy din wanna celebrate there. Ya it's for e kids. Anw a v brief celeb there as we all had a hearty meal over steamboat. Then coming home, Ian was most ready to do it for e 3rd time coz he made a checklist of things which we din do proper hee which is cake, candle lighted, knife, blowing out candle hee. We bought a mini cheese cake fm iciban boshi n this was e 3rd cake, it was cute to see e boy getting all e stuff ready for daddy except e lighted candle. Our boy is such a bday boy haha anw happy birthday to daddy who has taken so much effort in being there for e growing up yrs of e 2 kids n truly pray for more blessed yrs ahead!
