Yet another mth has passed and this mth somehow we were out on every wkend and there was always this balloon distribution and Ian's always wanting a balloon (whatever for coz we will put into his tent when we are home) and once in a while he will hold the whole bunch of balloon and sing the song "Joy is the flag flown from the castle of my heart" while flying the balloons...for that we will collect balloons every wkend arrgghhh
This mth, we visited a pre-sch for Ian and thereafter he went po2's pl and started telling po2 and the aunties there that he's going a sch....guess great achievement for the boy since the aunties have been asking what sch is he going....so mama checked him out by asking if he's going to the sch just below po2's block but he said NO....'my sch has a big playground' hhmm guess the greatest attraction to going to the pre-sch is the HUGE indoor playground they have for the kids hhmm wonder is this bad or gd....gotta slowly change his mindset abt going to sch for serious stuff hahaa

This mth, his dearest toy is this stack of Snap playcards coz just some wks back we visited ah mu's place and he was playing the memory card game with Seth and he likes it so mama decided to open the pack we have and started playing with him and since then he's been so attached to his cards, he even brought to po2's place stayover once to play with po2 and ah gong hahaa guess its the toy he's most attached to now....he's asking how to play 'Happy Family' guess that will take more time for him to learn how to play it

He's ever into taking pics for us and now he will dictate daddy to sit beside mama while he captures a shot....guess its quite gd for him to hone his photography skills and something for him to do in the evening...somehow he only wanna take pics when daddy is back guess he knows usually we take pics in grps hhmm

Ian's got this pouty mood when he's not happy with some stuff....he will pout and look down sorrowfully (yet to ever capture such a shot) and then he will go all quiet (which is v unusual of him to keep quiet for some time) and then he will fuss over what he's not happy so when mama's not happy, mama also keep a stern face and then he will ask daddy 'What happened to mummy?' guess he knows we usually say that so he's learning from us....well he's happy most of the time and now he's ever singing more songs and even po2 is asking what is he singing and usually he will tell po2 that mama taught him....hhhmm wonder if mama ever taught him so many songs hahaa but its a gd way to know he's happy and relaxed most of the time by the way he is singing and usually with much gusto hhmm

The last road trip then we realised he's making all sorts of funny faces when we take pics....some time ago mama read a blog abt her friend's gal who's making funny faces when taking pics with her mummy and now its happening to us....sigh wonder if its into every kid...anw while we think the kid is also smiling as widely as us, never did we find out that he is actually making funny faces while we are smiling so silly ahhaaa

Last week while we were doing painting, Ian suddenly did some strokes and asked mama if that was the letter 'H' and then he was writing the 2nd letter he has learnt and this is quite similar to the letter 'I' actually just that some strokes are longer anw the 1st word Ian has learnt to write is "HI" hahaa just wonder how he chooses to learn to write some letters and not the others...he continues to surprise mama with each passing day....he has mastered his numbers 1-10 quite well and just the other day he was going on after 10 and he said one-teen, two-teen, three-teen, four-teen, five-teen, sixteen.....hahahaa when we told him its eleven, twelve, thirteen....he was going 'huh, but its sixteen, seventeen....why not the same??' Sigh life is just like that sometimes u got no answer to the kid's endless questions hahaa
And for alphabets, he's recognising them quite a bit (all thanks to his alphabet puzzles) and now he's learning Aunty Lorraine starts with A.....Joy jie2 starts with J and Ian starts with I but he can't accept pple sharing same letters like Daddy starts with D but dayi can't share the same letter as daddy hhahaa....wonder how to explain that each letter is not unique for each name

This mth, he has also learnt to pick up calls on our home phone and just a couple days ago, he was dashing for the phone call and when mama asked for it, he said No, po2 talking to me...and there he sits crossing his legs and chatting with po2.....last wk he was talking to dayi and going ard the place pointing to things and telling dayi what he has hahahaa chatting at such young age wonder if he'll become a chatty boy?? hahaa but he's quite different when he's in class (at least in BSF) he will observe pple and dun talk as much and v wary of pple but usually v much engaged when teacher is doing songs with actions (he will jump and do whatever actions....guess he's most relaxed with songs) well this is what mama observed when peeping into BSF class guess that's the only place mama could spotcheck on him hhaaa but just visiting the sch he also wary of the kids coming near him and yet wanting to befriend them....just wonder if he will be the friendly kind or shy one when he goes to sch.....well 1/2 more yr and we will know....how time flies, 7 more mths and Ian will be going to sch soon.....sigh and now its the thinking which sch to go and how best to fit into his napping schedule and shld continue him on BSF (which means skipping a day of sch per wk) hhmm this boy is surely growing up with each passing day and week and mth and he's better at articulating what he wants.....sometimes its hard to act blur at his requests....just the other day he said he was thirsty and wanted his bottle but mama just wanted him to drink from his cup but he would say 'I want the blue and yellow bottle' and he actually went to find it and brought it to mama and said 'This bottle' sigh....guess he knows his own wants and wants his voice heard....well well our boy is surely growing up =)
Well on such a day, its indeed a rewarding vocation for a mummy who's seeing how her boy is growing up surely by the grace of God!
