Ian's 1st visit to Singapore Discovery Centre

Dunno when was the last time we ever went the Discovery Ctr but it was closed for reno for some time and today we went there coz daddy has been saying abt going there to watch movie and well we checked out there is a 3D show 'The Magic Journey of Africa' and it was showing at 9:15am and so we rushed off after having an early bf and we were in time for the show and here are the kids excited b4 going into the theatre and this was their 1st 3D show but weren't too used to wearing the 'glasses' and Ian often chose to watch w/o it and in fact he was hoping the show was like the Toy Story and before entering we saw they had many films shown there before and we could come back again since daddy could apply his company's pass which could admit 4 and it was quite cheap for the kids to watch movies there yyeeaahh we found new place to watch movies at a cheap price =) =) =)
Then after the 1h show we went into the gallery to see the exhibits and they were really quite high tech hehheee alot of 'live games' could be played and the kids enjoyed this ROBOT the most, there were 2 robots at the gallery, they were so thrilled with this Junior George who could reply to whatever questions they asked ie Seth asked 'if u do fight' and he gave a diplomatic ans which was 'No, fighting is no gd!' and we asked abt his family and he told he has other brother called Little George and this was the one in the pic coz the Junior George was just an image whereas Little George has a figure for the kids to talk to tho his voice was more kiddish and softer....the robots were so reponsive and SMART and we were surprised how they replied to our answers hhhmm if only we could hv a robot to entertain the kids all day long hahhaa endless whysss could be answered =) After walking the gallery, we rushed for the bus tour to SAFTI MI which was really nearby and mama has been to SAFTI many times (coz of work) but never knew all the meanings behind the structures and building and this guided tour was an eye opener to all that was on the BIG plot of land and we weren't allowed to take pics but did take 1 before the bus moved off.....it was an enlightening tour to SAFTI esp it brought back many memories for mama esp the Warriors Hall where so many town halls were held and mama even part of 1 organisation team....anw were also preparing the boys of ARMY life coz they have always been talking abt army and today they saw many soldiers....well well they gotta be gd to be in the cadet sch huh.....well that will be many yrs later huh, could come back again to prep them since public can't quite go into the place except this organised tour by discovery centre

At the bus bay was this hawk plane we had to take since it looked real impressive and actually there were more ard the place and more to explore but it was getting near to lunch time so we could head back again next time to explore together with another show coz there was still the Army Museum and more 'games' to play.....anw we were just glad we are 'friends of daddy's coy' so we could come back anytime with daddy applying the pass of course hehheee what a gd excursion for the kids as well as for us!
