Today was the day for Methodist Heritage Day and it was supposed to be a fair at the Old School (Mt Sophia Rd) and then it was to take bus and tour 3 of the methodist churches for the history of methodism which started in Singapore and we did contemplate for a long while whether to go coz not sure how's the bus ride and whether it will pass Ian's nap time and well ended up we decided to go BUT doing the tour on our own.....we parked at PS thinking we could walk up to the Old School BUT the usual pathlink is no longer there and therefore we had to climb the so-called 100 steps to the Old School (mama used to walk up to go to her sch and it din prove to be so tough till today, we were panting at the end of the flight of steps) and Ian did it on his own except when coming down, he just din wanna walk anymore coz we walked too much round the school!

This is the entrance of the Old School - that's the name of the sch and that was what mama was telling Ian as well that we will be visiting mama's old school and the entrance still looked the same and how we (ie mama and her classmates!) used to take pics sitting on the ledge just on top of the school name and the little tower behind where mama used to meet her CF friends for BS during recess time hhmm lots of memories flowing....

So much memories as we tour ard the school and took quite abit of pics ard the sch but selected a few to post on the blog, this was specifically taken coz it was mama's Sec 1 class room but now it has been transformed into some commercialised office (we think! ) and below was where mama used to attend the many prayer meets with the fellow CFers (and often had to dash for our assembly ie where we are standing now coz we could get carried praying for the many requests!) and also the library is on the same floor and that time mama did some crazy fun stuff at lib as well.....so so much memories!

Well there was a mini fair set up for all to play while waiting for the bus ride, and we were 1 of the first few to reach since we din take the chartered bus and here's with his endless tries at the 'Give me a 8' game and the idea was to roll a ball on each lane and both numbers must add up to 8....never mind the 3 yo who can't add nor could he even see the numbers from where his head was levelled at....he just had endless rolls of the balls and the ICs were just allowing him to have endless tries even when his balls kept going off lane....what fun he had!

Next was to use up the coupons the goody bags came with and this boy who had his lunch at PS just now, still could eat more chicken wings and he just couldn't stop for a time, we used all our coupons for his drumsticks hhmm guess his fav part abt the trail was the FOOD!! hahaa well it was nice to be back to mama's sch with daddy and Ian....its been 20 yrs wow....haven't quite stepped here since mama graduated from uni coz came back with some Sec Sch friends to take our convo pics here....gd that the Old School is still ard and guess we could come back again some day to perhaps take a sip at the cafe there??
