Happy 40th mth to Ian!!!

This mth has been quite packed...wonder why coz Ian's not schooling yet but we had lots of activities...guess its sch hols for his cousins so we had more activities....well this mth Ian had his wish to be on the Spore Flyer, altho he was the only fortunate one who took it twice, he's still asking for more hhmm as if his dad owns the Flyer huh....anw now he's asking for HOTEL and dayi's hostel....this boy sure knows what to request!

hhmm his request for hotel came after he went the Genting trip and he knows its FUN!! And he's ever asking for it so mama will always point to the hotels near our home (recently came up with many boutique hotels) and then when daddy drove us home then mama will say this is our Boon Tiong hotel hahaa yayaya and mama happens to be the chamber maid, chef, recep everything in 1 hahaa....and the hostel idea came was we had dinner with dayi some sats ago and then we sent dayi back hostel to pack some stuff before coming our pl and Ian was AMAZED at her hostel (wonder what attracted him beside the blue cross) and when dayi invited him to stay, he was most willing,....what a camper boy we have...anw lately he's been into GADGETS!! yes, dayi's i-touch is the fav among the kids now and Ian can actually operate the gadget on his own...guess what 3 yr olds are into these days....even mama's HTC hp is not being spared, tho not much games, Ian will toggle ard the photos, music files, camera and even caught him playing solitaire hahaa we were surprised at how he could move the cards sigh guess its a sign we can't ever get iphone for ourselves....coz we have seen how kids have been 'fighting' for their parents iphone so why get ourselves into trouble =p

With the sch hols, we could drop by ah mu's place more frequently, most of our fridays are spent there and Ian has been most interested in the hopper ball....guess since he was really young, he was fascinated by the hopper ball but he could hardly move it at that young age, now he's learnt how to hop with the ball and we are tempted to get it for him but thinking twice coz of the impact it makes on the ground, we might get complaints from our neighbours hahaa well can consider getting him for a present some day =)

And camping over po2's place has an attraction for Ian coz he could request for things he cannot get back home....going supermarket, he could ask for biscuits, milk, cheese, sweets, DURIANS etc from po2 (but been enforcing on Ian not to request when out with po2) and latest he asked for a mini golf set and he was most pleased with it coz of the clubs and balls that made it fascinating...since then he's been inviting pple to our place to 'play golf', he asked Dayi (who came and had a game with him), Aunty Lorraine and Seth gor2 (who came along some days ago and played as well) guess he's been most proud of his collection of toys back home....he's inviting more and more pple....he even told po2 that she hasn't been to our place lately....sigh dunno if he's being hospitable or....heheee

Yes, we do catch glimpses of World Cup back home.... not the one on tv but a miniature football match between Ian and his daddy...its their usual workout back home....this was Ian's bday gift from Jiu2 and Aunty Lorr and lately we brought it out to play coz po2 almost got the same set of toy for Ian till we told her and she went to exchange for the golf set...anw its been kicking goal time every nite (almost!) and Ian will be the goal keeper and daddy will tribble the ball and try his goal at the post...its been fun and Ian's been most excited abt playing with his daddy....yea, dayi had her share of play with Ian when she dropped by last wk, dunno what our pl is turning into some miniature sports centre??

OK, beside the action packed stuff, Ian went for his 1st story telling session at Queenstown Lib last Sat....hhmm its his 1st at the lib tho quite sure not his 1st story telling coz we do know there is lots of story telling at Sun Sch and must say he's quite attentive during the story telling...its an achievement for 3yo coz he will sit still there listening to the person reading the story (guess we dun see much at SS since we try not to appear there) and its quite different when reading to him back home, he will usually ask lots of questions even as u flip the pages and we could read a book umpteen times and he could even read it back to us

Last Sun, we dropped by Raffles City and for the 1st time, Ian's been captivated by the fountain, we sat there for some gd minutes and he then requested for pee break but requested to come back to the fountain again to view it....wonder what went thru his mind but he could just see the water shooting up and then flowing back and could sit quietly just observing it....guess its a new spot we could drop by again coz we had to go as daddy was coming by to pick us....just new discovery of our boy, just glad there are times he is energised for sports and yet there are times he could quieten down and do some simple stuff like observing and listening to things....and he's getting better at doing things on his own as sometimes mama needs to attend to things like cooking or watching news and he could go to his own room to do his own stuff and often really happy to have mama to join him again and he's always happily humming his tune away, it always make a mama happy just looking at her happy boy

Happy 40th mth, our happy boy! Continue to stay and grow up that way!
