While in the car we did ask the kids which animals they wanted to see and Seth requested to feed kangaroo, Joy requested to feed giraffe and Ian requested for elephant (altho he initially wanted to feed the lions hahaa) and here is Ian feeding the giraffe and this time the kids were bolder they really went forth to feed the giraffes unlike the last time when we came to feed them
And here is the plate of carrots for the giraffes.....the kids were so excited to embark on the feeding trail =)
Next we walked a whole loop to the Australian outback to feed the kangaroos....and here we are sitting on the bench to feed the roos but the kids looked so engrossed feeding the roos =p and Ian was hogging onto the cup of pellets and the roos crowded ard him and he got quite frightened hahaa so much abt going to Australia heheee
Next we went to the elephants show and after the show, we went for the elephant feeding and the kids chickened out this time coz they were afraid the elephants would bite them...hhhm wonder how come they have such a thot just coz the elephants are so much bigger?? but their trunks were there to get the food for them to gobble up and not their teeth!!!
At the end of the feeding, the drizzle came on and we were glad it only came at this time coz we could have our lunch at the shelter at the elephant area and here we see feeding of the kids hehheee....they were happy with the chic rice which we got and we were glad we decided to dabao in else with the rain it was hard to travel any further to get the lunch and after the lunch, the drizzle ended and it was just nice for us to explore the zoo and for the 2 younger ones to nap and this time we went to the fragile forest (which we liked the last time we came which was 2 mths ago) and we still liked the upclose encounter with the animals....guess this is the fav part of the zoo trip we were on!!!! Highly recommended for any parents wanting to bring their kids to the zoo!!!
It rained a little while more and we then dashed for the Splash Safari show and tho the place was wet, we enjoyed the show and the kids were in the front row, really near to the splash zone (where u will get wet!)

And we went to Peramakan at Keppel Club for dinner and it was yummy nonya food for dinner and to end off the nice zoo visit and dinner with the Durian Penggat which was super yummy hheee.....it was a nice day out with the kids and feeding the animals, today we almost walked the whole zoo seeing almost every animal exhibit.....guess we could come back again esp for the fragile forest =)
