DURIANS!!! For a boy who truly loves durian, this season brings so much joy and cheer to him! Last wk when staying at po2's pl, he saw some durians at the supermarket and asked po2 if he could buy some and when returning home, ah gong fished out a $10 note for him to buy durians but we came at nite to stop po2 from buying for this boy....gd thing he din show any protest, we were just worried abt his indigestion anw so we din have any durians last wk and this wk mama was tempted to get them from a fruit stall near our pl and it was going for $5 each but the uncle managed to psycho mama in getting 4 so can get 1 free hahaa so we ended up getting 5 durians!!!
This boy was most patient in waiting for the uncle to open all the durians (even posed for a pic for mama to capture in front of the bountiful stall of durians hehee) and packed in boxes for us. In order to consume all of that, mama made him go home to cycle ard the estate while we kept the durians in fridge to savor and enjoy with daddy when he's back! Well this boy was quite obedient and kept to all mama's instructions and when he finally saw daddy that nite, he excitedly told daddy that mama got DURIANS!!! The whole nite he was waiting for daddy and we made a library trip and waited for daddy to finish his dinner before we could tuck into the 'dessert', must say this boy is quite patient in waiting for it! And he truly enjoyed every bit of the durians and guess this marks the start of our 'durian feasting'! Yummsss.....long durian season ahead =)
