Read on some friend's blog abt the Singapore Arts Museum(SAM) at 8Q and for this period its FOC for kids under 6 yo and ah mu was asking if wanna go on such gloomy Sat morning since it seems rather downcast for the am so the kids tag along with ah mu and ah baa for the museum visit while mama and daddy went for GSS (Gone Serious Shopping!!!! hehee) and it was quite gd that Ian was most willing to part with us and he had a gd time with the gor2 and jie2 exploring the new place....there seems quite alot of art stuff for kids to hands on and there was so much to explore they could stay longer if not for the lunch and their needed naps....here are the kids ready to zoom thru every corner of the museum!!!
And here was a nice room where there were pretty flower petals seemingly 'raining' on them while they sat there to enjoy the 'art'!!! It was almost like high tech visual art =)
And there were some stops for the kids to do some coloring of the butterflies and here is Ian who looked like he was in some serious art work hahaa maybe another Leonardo Da Vinci in making hehehe anw heard he was only keen to color 1 wing of the butterfly and asked him why, he just answered 'Ya!' as if it was common for butterflies to have colours on 1 wing only hahaaa
And here are they exploring some artefacts and posing for some shots....there was an interesting room where the cast of each person's shadow on the wall was showing growth of a plant and the pics couldn't be taken better since no flash was allowed in the room....looking at how much the kids had to say abt the visit they had, guess they had a real gd time exploring the art museum! Maybe they could do more museums with children activities and we could go for more visits....anw it was a gd time off from the usual stuff and doing some arty stuff =) and of coz for mama and daddy, it was nice to have some couple time doing some stuff which we used to do when we din have Ian yet =p thanks ah mu and ah baa =) we could take turns =p
